Overview
Pembrokeshire County Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Grade 5 Care Co-ordinator in the Community Wellbeing and Independence Team. The role supports adults in their own homes across Pembrokeshire, providing high-quality, person-centred care to help individuals live safely, independently, and work towards achieving their personal outcomes. This is an open-ended contract for 26.5 hours per week over 5 days, with a pro rata salary of £26,403 - £27,694 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide essential support to manage scheduling demands and ensure continuity of care in the community.
* Maintain regulatory responsibilities and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Support staff wellbeing in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and contribute to operational resilience.
* Collaborate with the Community Wellbeing and Independence Team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Well-organised, adaptable individual who can operate effectively in a reactive and dynamic setting.
* Experience or ability to work within social care and clerical/administrative environments is desirable.
* Welsh language skills are desirable. Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
* Right to work in the UK (note: Pembrokeshire County Council is not accepting applicants who require a Skilled Worker visa).
Salary and Contract
* Grade 5 – £26,403 - £27,694 pro rata (for 26.5 hours per week over 52.14 weeks per annum, equating to £18,910.26 pro rata).
* Contract type: Open Ended; Hours: 26.5 per week over 5 days.
