Join Our Team as a Part-Time Support Worker
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: £12.30 per hour plus benefits. Additional £50 per sleep-in shift.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract: Part-Time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.
Essential Criteria: Demonstrate exposure to two of the following areas: Mental Health, Behaviours that Challenge, Anxiety, Autism and Learning Disabilities, Positive Behaviour Support.
About You: Do you enjoy making a difference? Are you calm, caring, resilient, active, and proactive? If you have a manual UK driving license and are comfortable driving alternative vehicles, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
1. Daily Care & Support: Personal care, meal prep, medication, and daily tasks.
2. Building Relationships: Understanding and supporting individuals’ needs.
3. Empowering Independence: Supporting personal goals and encouraging exploration.
4. Social Engagement: Supporting community activities and hobbies.
5. Respect & Dignity: Treating individuals and families with respect and equality.
Who You Will Support: Adults with complex health needs and disabilities, including autism, sight loss, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and anxiety, who enjoy community activities like music, arts, football, and gardening.
