Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: GBP 30,000 : GBP 35,000 per annum
We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering business based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an early:career engineer looking to develop their skills in a hands:on environment and gain exposure to mechanical design, product development, and engineering processes.
Responsibilities:
: Support the engineering team in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies.
: Assist with producing CAD models and technical drawings.
: Work with production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
: Contribute to problem:solving, continuous improvement, and engineering change activities.
: Participate in project work, including prototyping, testing, and validation.
: Provide general engineering support across the department as needed.
Requirements:
: Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
: Strong interest in mechanical design and engineering development.
: Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks desirable).
: Good understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes.
: Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
: Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the company.
