Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Unit Bridge Manager to manage the delivery of bridge and structures programmes within a defined unit. The role involves overseeing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring the safe operation, inspection, assessment, and maintenance of network structures in line with national standards and technical approvals.
Essential Requirements
Chartered Engineer status MICE or MIStructE (mandatory)
Proven experience in bridge design and assessment (maintenance experience desirable)
Experience across roads or rail structures
Strong project and programme management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrable experience managing internal and external stakeholders
Background within a local authority or public sector organisation
