The role-
Ensure all MHE equipment is serviceable and charged at all times. Faults reported immediately and keys to be kept securely. All start up checks to be signed off daily by operators
Scanners to be operated as per the procedures ensuring that all products are scanned, and any faults are reported to IT/Maintenance immediately. The area is to be kept clean and tidy at all times
Regularly check product produced, ensure scanned so that it shows up on palletisation report. Report any shorts to departmental Champion
Ensure there are enough trailers available at all times. Lease with Morris Transport when short. Any unserviceable trailers to be reported to the shunter driver's asap
Ensure job observations are kept up to date. The bay Champion will carry out regular checks
When loading trailers with product, a loading plan must be filled out and attached to the final paperwork once the trailer has been completely loaded. This form will show the signature of the loader who carried out the job
Ensure that a nominated person is given every assistance in getting the shorts palletised once produced. To liaise with the transport personnel for the arrangement of transport required. To liaise with stocks for the shorts sheets and any amendments. Information required is timely produced and loaded. To liaise with production as to when the shorts can be expected and to chase up if running late or short
To ensure that all pallets once scanned are stacked correctly and safely and are securely pallet wrapped for loading.
Ensure that returns from Pentons, Coldstore are checked against notification received, notifying all parties involved in the processing of those returns
Responsible for the daily count of trays and pallets, to include clean, dirty and broken. This count must be reported before 7.00 hrs daily to the despatch office
Responsible for the reporting of faults with the tray wash machine to both the Raw Materials Manager and Maintenance immediately
Liaise with the despatch office regarding any shortages, the washing programme and the delivery and unloading of trays on a daily basis
To ensure that any product that needs re-ocm'ing or reworking is returned to production immediately and not left until the end of the shift
Adhere to Company hygiene practices & safe food production.
To comply with health & safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents
Attend appropriate team meetings as required by the manager.
To participate in training, in accordance with your personal training plan
Carry out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested by the manager.
