Are you an innovative senior civil or structural engineer or consultant who can apply agile, lateral thinking and develop technical leadership and engineering management skills to deliver projects? You should have experience in delivery ownership of structural design and assessment, finite element analysis, technical report writing and reviewing, and strong client engagement and leadership abilities.
We are looking for full-time senior civil and structural engineers to join our growing team in Epsom to support a wide range of new build nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs and future fusion reactor technologies. You will work a minimum of 3 days per week from a Power New Build office or client office. You should be chartered with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (IStructE, ICE or equivalent) or have an equivalent level of capability.
Responsibilities
* You have a relevant level of professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis (steelwork and reinforced concrete), research and development, project engineering or design consultancy.
* You can coordinate across multidisciplinary projects.
* You can lead, undertake, and review design of new building structures, and take responsibility for project ownership.
* You have worked in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power or rail.
* You can work collaboratively from our offices and across client sites to understand clients’ needs and deliver to time, cost and quality.
* You can write bids and tenders to win work.
* You can manage, lead and mentor staff.
