Construction Company Accounts Assistant - Up to £35,000 p.a. Offices: Central London (Full-time, office - no hybrid) The company: Morgan McKinley have partnered with a main contractor that specialises in commercial construction projects such as refurbishments and office builds / fit outs. The company is an SME that has built a strong name within the construction space in the UK and is looking to hire an Accounts Assistant that fits with their ethos and can provide 1st class support within the accounts function. Your new role: As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for: Maintaining the AP inbox Processing supplier invoices, accurately coding invoices & VAT Reviewing sub-contractor invoice certificates and processing the certificates for payment Bank reconciliations Supporting with payment runs Ad-hoc administrative duties What you will need: Experience within Accounts Payable is a must, ideally within a construction / engineering / property business Experience with CIS / Sub-contractor invoicing Immediately available or up to 1 month notice period would be preferred
