Job summary
We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified, motivated, and experienced Paediatric Radiographer to join our friendly Imaging team at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Brighton, located on the same site as the Royal Sussex County Hospital. We are a leading children's centre on the Southeast coast, offering tertiary and general paediatrics across various specialties including surgery, gastroenterology, diabetes, respiratory medicine, oncology, and day care services. The hospital also features a busy 24-hour dedicated children's emergency department, theatre suite, and high dependency unit.
As a Paediatric Radiographer, you will work closely with the Paediatric Radiology team in plain x-ray, theatre, and fluoroscopy. The core service operates from 8:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with services outside these hours provided by a team of out-of-hours radiographers supported by specialist training from paediatric radiographers. If you can act as a role model, enjoy teaching and leading others, possess good organizational skills, and can liaise effectively with other departments, you may be the person we need. We offer ongoing support for professional development in a friendly, challenging, and stimulating environment.
