Position: Office and Sales Support

Hours: Core hours 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, bubbly, organised, proactive, and flexible applicantto support our growing team in sales administration, and to support the management team in managing a team of employees including Health & Safety administration and HR processes. This is a varied role that blends sales administration, customer service, and operational support. You will be the first point of contact for sales enquiries and will play a key part in managing communications internally and externally, maintaining accurate records, and supporting internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and high levels of customer satisfaction.
This position also offers opportunities for future growth, including leadership responsibilities, and strategic input into business development and health & safety processes. Someone with commercial nous will flourish in this role for many years to come.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the sales inbox, handling new enquiries, orders, and aftersales correspondence
* Send out quote letters and follow up on outstanding quotes
* Collaborate with estimators to track the status of quotes
* Communicate with customers regarding order progress and any delivery issues
* Liaise with production to highlight and resolve pressure points or delays
* Take responsibility for sales processes, including loading and closing sales
* Support marketing activities in coordination with the Sales Manager
* File and maintain accurate quote records
* Meet and greet visitors as required
* Propose and agree realistic lead times with internal teams and clients
* Contribute to health and safety initiatives
* Support managers in achieving a flowing process in the adminstration of sales and supporting with team task changes
* Being a key part of the team, brainstorming on continuous improvement and efficiently executing projects to completion with the team

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
