* Lead on care compliance and regulatory standards.
* Ensure all service user files, care plans and risk assessments are accurate, up to date and available in the home.
* Maintain all safeguarding, health and safety, and well‑being risk assessments.
* Support care delivery as needed, including personal care and covering calls.
* Provide clear leadership to the team and drive consistent standards.
* Mentor all carers and HUB staff to work safely and effectively.
* Carry out supervision, spot checks, appraisals and probation reviews.
* Maintain key operational systems including rotas, safeguarding logs, onboarding checks, audits and records.

* Represent the service professionally and build positive links with external professionals.
* Respond to enquiries, concerns and complaints as directed and as per policy.
* Complete field-based audits on care files, MAR charts and notes, resolving issues in real time where possible.
* Ensure compliance with Data Protection, confidentiality, equality and health and safety.
* Act as a central point for communication, coordination, referrals and scheduling.
* Lead or support the review of all care plans and risk assessments.
* Audit records to ensure accuracy and follow up actions with the Manager.
* Update and monitor service action plans from audits, surveys and spot checks.
* Attend care reviews and relay outcomes to the Manager and Senior Support Workers.
* Support the organisation and delivery of service user surveys.
* Use electronic systems (Dropbox, Access, BreathHR) to maintain compliance and records.
* Produce basic service reports to support the compliance team and the Manager in understanding financial performance.
* Provide cover for key tasks such as rota management, HR duties and invoicing when required.
* Support recruitment, induction, training and supervision of staff.
* Lead on the planning and holding of team meetings.
* Maintain accurate records across all areas of work.
* Build and sustain effective relationships with external agencies to support referrals.
* Participate in the on‑call rota.
* Lead on complex care cases.
* Deliver care when required due to emergencies or staffing gaps.
* Deliver, monitor and review care packages, including spot checks, assessments and review visits.
* Contribute to the strategic planning for the service.

Health and Safety

* Follow all company Health and Safety policies and legal requirements.
* Complete Health and Safety risk assessments under the Manager’s guidance.
* Report Health and Safety issues and outcomes to the Manager.
* Permanent contract (37.5 hours/week)
* Flexible hours of operation (within the needs of the service)
* Supportive, accessible management team and a values‑led organisation.
* Free‑extensive training.
* Staff recognition & awards.
