Job Title: Die Cast Machine Operator (Trainee)
Location: Wednesbury (WS10)
Pay Rate:
1. £ per hour (06:00 – 16:00 shift)
2. £ per hour (13:00 – 23:00 shift)
Shift Pattern:
3. Rotating weekly shifts, Monday to Thursday Week 1: 06:00 – 16:00 Week 2: 13:00 – 23:00
4. 30 min unpaid lunch break
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting a Trainee Die Cast Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in die casting, with full training provided and clear progression opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
5. Operating die cast machines in line with safety and quality standards
6. Loading and unloading components from machines
7. Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults
8. Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality specifications are met
9. Maintaining a clean and safe working area
10. Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Training & Progression
11. This is a trainee position, ideal for candidates new to die casting or manufacturing
12. Full training provided from experienced operators

Working Environment
14. Manufacturing environment will be hot and noisy
15. PPE is fully provided
Requirements
16. Willingness to work rotating shifts
17. Own transport is preferred due to shift start and finish times
18. Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn
19. Ability to work in a physical and fast-paced environment
