Senior/Principal Future Mobility Consultant
Join the Senior/Principal Future Mobility Consultant role at WSP in the UK & Ireland.
What you will do
* Provide day-to-day support in the delivery of a range of projects, including EV charging and funding bid support (e.g., Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure bids), developing business cases for fleet decarbonisation, and analysing EV charging opportunities for a city region or cluster of mobility hubs.
* Lead and support projects, covering technical subject matter expertise and project management to ensure delivery on time and to budget.
* Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate data (numerical, geographical, qualitative) and provide robust recommendations.
* Support with, or lead, bids, fee proposals and project programmes.
* Work at both strategic and detailed levels with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate confidently with clients, stakeholders and team members.
* Actively manage and maintain collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues; contribute to growing the Future Mobility offer in the office and nationally.
* Be present in the office (hybrid working) alongside colleagues and collaborate with teams across the UK and overseas.
Your Team
We offer a variety of expertise and skills to support public and private sector clients with future mobility challenges. Our team works across areas including zero emission mobility, new modes and services, accessibility and inclusion, and policy and futures. The team includes town planners, economists, accountants, behavioural scientists, and transport planners, with an extensive portfolio of multi-disciplinary and cross-sector projects in the UK and abroad.

* Proactive, able to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and add value to ongoing work and the team.
* Excellent report writing with the ability to produce concise, impactful outputs with strong attention to detail, grammar, and presentation.
* Responsive and agile in delivering tasks, asking for necessary details, adapting to changing priorities, and raising concerns early.
