Job Opportunity – Grounds Maintenance Operative
Boundaries and Borders has been serving the communities between Andover and Shrewton for five years. As our business has grown, so has our valued client base. We are now looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about their work and takes pride in maintaining the high standards of service we provide.
About the Role
This position involves working within the local community, visiting multiple locations each day. You will be responsible for a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks, including:
Strimming
Blowing
Mowing
Weed spraying on hardstanding areas
The role requires the use of petrol-powered machinery and hand tools, so prior experience is beneficial.
Employment Terms
The initial engagement will be on a subcontractor basis for three months. During this period, full training and shadowing will be provided to ensure a high standard of work. Once a satisfactory level is reached, shadowing will no longer be required. After the initial three-month period, a contract will be offered.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a maintenance schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Essential Skills & Requirements
A full UK driving licence
Experience using garden machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
