GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Drama Teacher to join a thriving school in Sheffield, starting in September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who inspires self-expression, builds confidence, and encourages teamwork through the power of performance. As a Drama Teacher, you will lead imaginative and engaging lessons that enable students to explore dramatic techniques, develop performance skills, and express themselves in a creative and supportive environment. Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher: Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in line with the national curriculum for Drama. Inspire students to engage with a range of dramatic forms, genres, and texts. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Direct and support school productions and drama clubs. Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with staff to enrich the school's arts curriculum. Requirements for Drama Teacher: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching Drama in school level. Be passionate about theatre and the performing arts. Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply through GSL Education). A full CV covering the last 10 years with all the gaps explained.
