The ideal candidate will have: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience using accounting software Ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and spreadsheets High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and credit control processes Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role Your Responsibilities Always: Enter all purchase invoices including non-saleable items into the accounting software Manage supplier, customer, and third-party account responsibilities Generate customer invoices and issue monthly account statements Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up proactively on overdue accounts Process all incoming and outgoing bank transactions accurately and within required timeframes Prepare and submit bank deposits as needed Often: Keep internal accounting records up to date, including setting up new accounts and updating account terms Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts Occasionally: Carry out any ad hoc duties as required Never: Feel unappreciated in your role Skills: purchase ledger invoicing credit control Benefits: flexi time
