Electrical Controls Engineer Cheshire System Integrator - Permanent - £40-50k Office Based Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a Cheshire based systems integrator. An all-rounder would be well suited to this opportunity. Please note this isnt a design focused role, the successful Electrical Controls Engineer will be mainly responsible for surveying sites and creating specifications and packages of work. Key aspects of the Electrical Controls Engineer position include; Electrical Controls Engineers will need a UK driving licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship Surveying customer sites to determine electrical and control solutions Specifying control panels, cable and containment routes, power and networking Able to work across multiple technology platforms including PLC, HMI & Variable Speed Drives Preparation of cost proposals; including specifying hardware, costing hardware and electrical equipment Developing project documentation including IO schedules, hardware/panel Design & test specifications, cable/termination schedules Configure and develop control system application software for a wide variety of applications Estimate one site visit per week; most customers are within a 2-hour drive of the office Electrical Controls Engineer will be mainly office based The company provides the best available equipment as well as a very professional, modern working environment for the engineering teams to deliver from Electrical Controls Engineer will have some of the following technical experience; Experience specifying, configuring, commissioning Variable Speed Drives Familiar with Motor Starters DOL, Star/Delta/Soft Start Working Knowledge of BS7671 IET Wiring regulations Working Knowledge of BS EN 60204-1 Machinery Safety Standards The office location is commutable from most of Cheshire, including places such as Manchester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, Stockport, Widnes, Chester and Northwich.
