Mental Health Youth Worker

Do you have experience supporting individuals who can find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships?
In recent years there is a massive focus on supporting the mental health of pupils who have been impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis for this academic year in a school in the Hanham. These opportunities come with an option of progressing onto contract at the school.
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will be involved in not only supporting pupils within the classroom but will also be comfortable with running activities with the pupils outside the classroom as well. Alongside the class teacher, you will also provide support with ensuring the right support is in place for the students.
These positions are on a full time basis and full support and guidance will be given. There will also be opportunities to complete additional training whilst in the role, including prevent and safeguarding training.
