Facilities project engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities / Project Engineer to join a leading defence and aerospace organisation supporting high:profile operational sites across the UK.

Working within a small, collaborative team, youll play a key role in delivering internal facilities and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. This position offers a varied workload across electrical, mechanical, and civil projects within a secure and highly regulated environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating facilities:based projects, including:
Developing project concepts and scopes of work Producing project plans and supporting tender processes Reviewing contractor quotations and procurement submissions Coordinating RAMS and contractor documentation Monitoring contractors on:site and supporting project delivery Ensuring projects are completed and signed off in line with business requirements Liaising with internal stakeholders including Security, IT, H and S, and operational user groups
The role is primarily based in Havant, with occasional support required at the clients Gloucester and Westbury sites.

Essential Skills and Experience
Previous experience in Project Engineering or Project Management within facilities, infrastructure, defence, or related environments Strong understanding of project management principles and techniques Good knowledge of building regulations Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D CAD packages NEBOSH Level 2 minimum Ideally Prince2 qualified or working towards accreditation Minimum 3 years experience within facilities or related engineering disciplines
