The role
You will be providing a variety of non-medical services to help our clientsstay independent in their own home, including:
* Support with shopping and errands
* Meal preparation
* Light household duties
* Companionship
* Assistance with dressing
* Administering medication
* Assistance with personal care.
Qualifications
Particular qualifications arenot requiredto become a Care Professional with Home Instead as you will receive full training and support from our operations team. However, it maybe useful to have some experience of a care setting, such as supportinga family member or voluntary experience.
Successful candidates must:
* Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
* Be dependable, trustworthy and respectful.
* Enjoy building trusting relationships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
Please note: Due to the nature of this role, some clients may require you to drive them to appointments or they may live in more remote/rural areas, therefore a valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
