Role & Responsibilities

1. Manage a portfolio of rural estates delivering day to day management and long term strategic advice.
2. Undertake RICS compliant valuations and property appraisals for a range of rural and mixed use assets.
3. Advise clients on agricultural, residential, and commercial property matters including landlord and tenant issues.
4. Support renewable energy projects including wind, solar, hydro, and battery storage developments.
5. Provide consultancy on land transactions including acquisitions, disposals, servitudes, and wayleave agreements.
6. Deliver strategic land management advice aligned with environmental, financial, and operational objectives.
7. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and identify new business opportunities.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated rural surveying services across multiple disciplines.

Skills & Experience Required

9. MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification with a RICS accredited degree background.
10. Minimum 2 years professional experience within rural surveying, estate management, or related consultancy.
11. Strong knowledge of rural property legislation, valuation standards, and land management practices.
12. Experience advising on landlord and tenant matters, compensation claims, or rural property transactions.
13. Understanding of renewable energy schemes and their impact on rural land and estate value.
14. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and present technical advice clearly.
15. Self motivated approach with the ability to manage workload independently while contributing to team objectives.
16. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to attend site visits across rural locations.
