Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Paramedic or Nurse background) – Join our supportive team at Wem and Prees Medical Practice working 27 hours per week.
Autonomous practitioner who is able to work independently and in conjunction with other members of the MDT.
The ACP will understand and demonstrate evidence-based practice and have a broad knowledge of clinical governance, enabling them to work within their scope of practice.
The ACP will be an experienced caring practitioner with highly developed clinical skills and be able to demonstrate critical thinking whilst working within professional boundaries.
The ACP will work collaboratively with the MDT to support delivery of policies and procedures.
Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and improve patient care.
Take an active role in clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Be educated to masters level; this education will include the following core areas: comprehensive physical assessment of all body systems across the lifespan, history taking and clinical decision-making skills in health and disease, including physical, sociological, psychological, and cultural aspects of history taking, public health, epidemiology, health education and promotion.
Contribute positively to innovative change, be flexible, responsive to new ways of working.
