As the business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Sales Consultant who can maintain our trusted approach while confidently driving sales and converting opportunities.
This is not a showroom order-taking role. It is an opportunity to take real ownership of sales within a growing independent business.
The Role
You will:
* Take full ownership of the customer journey — from initial enquiry through to completion and aftercare
* Build rapport with customers and guide them towards the right flooring solutions
* Prepare, issue and proactively follow up quotations and estimates
* Conduct site visits and measurements where required
* Coordinate installations and ensure projects run smoothly
* Drive revenue while protecting margins
* Manage and develop your own sales pipeline
* Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism throughout each project
Success in This Role
You will take ownership of customer enquiries and your sales, with responsibility for converting opportunities into profitable, well-managed projects.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in carpet & flooring sales
* Strong knowledge of flooring products, installation processes and estimating
* Proven ability to convert quotes into orders
* Comfortable working towards revenue and profitability targets
* Good computer skills — able to create estimates, email customers and use supplier portals (Masterpiece experience beneficial; training provided)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence for site visits
* Friendly, professional and proactive approach aligned with our consultative culture
