Are you an end-to-end public sector procurement professional ready to step into a high-impact strategic sourcing role supporting nationally critical infrastructure and services across the UK?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute procurement professional to join a well-established, high-performing procurement function within a complex, regulated environment.
You’ll take ownership of high-value sourcing projects across a broad corporate services portfolio, partnering with senior stakeholders and shaping supplier strategy that drives real operational impact.
If you enjoy navigating governance-heavy environments, leading open tenders, and influencing across a matrix organisation this role offers the scale and stability many procurement professionals are looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading end-to-end sourcing activity across a range of corporate services categories (e.g., HR, professional services, consultancy, financial services & more).
* Designing and executing innovative sourcing strategies that deliver value, resilience, and compliance.
* Managing full tender lifecycles, including open tenders outside of frameworks.
* Driving complex commercial evaluations and negotiations with key suppliers.
* Building strong supplier relationships and improving ongoing performance.
* Partnering closely with stakeholders to provide strategic commercial guidance.
* Proactively identifying and mitigating commercial, contractual, and supply chain risks.
What We’re Looking For:
* Circa 4+ years’ procurement experience with ownership of end-to-end sourcing projects.
* Preferably a strong background in public sector or regulated environments (NHS, government, utilities, transport etc for example).
* Exposure to Procurement Act 2023 or relevant public procurement regulations (e.g. PCR 2015) is highly desirable for the role.
* Commercially sharp with strong negotiation capability.
* Self-starter mindset with a collaborative approach.
* Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
* CIPS (or working towards) beneficial but not essential.
Why This Role Stands Out:
* Join a large, mature procurement function with clear structure.
* Work on high-impact, nationally significant public sourcing programmes.
* Broad, varied corporate services / indirect spend, no two projects are the same.
* Strong internal progression and professional development support (including CIPS sponsorship).
* Hybrid model with flexibility to work from multiple regional offices (London, Birmingham, MK).
* Stable, long-term environment within a complex and respected organisation.
If you’re looking to step into a role where you can truly own complex sourcing activity, influence senior stakeholders, and build your career within a structured public sector environment then this could be the move you’ve been waiting for.
