Hearing Impaired Specialist Teaching Assistant – Fareham area
Location: Lymington
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (Potential to go permanent)
Pay: £85 – £95 per day

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working in a school setting
* Have a foundational knowledge of British Sign Language or be willing to learn
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A nurturing, positive approach with a passion for supporting children’s learning
* The ability to adapt and respond to individual pupil needs
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and supportive learning experiences
* Work in a primary school with a small group of children with Hearing Impairments or an inability to communicate verbally
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to reach their full potential
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
* Be actively involved in wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
