The Role: As an Optical Engineer, you will design, prototype, and test novel optical components and systems. Working in a collaborative environment, you will partner with internal teams, industry partners, and customers to push the boundaries of optical technology. Key Responsibilities: Design and optimise optical components and systems for optical applications. Conduct experimental testing of optical designs to ensure they meet performance targets. Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and industry partners to develop cutting-edge solutions. Contribute to intellectual property development, including patent filings. What We’re Looking For: Strong knowledge of geometrical and ray optics. Experience with optical simulation tools such as Ansys Speos, Lumerical, Zemax, or similar. Hands-on optical experimentation experience. A degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HMDs, HUDs, or free-space optics.
