To effectively manage a production shift (including out of hours delivery queries) ensuring the execution and management of the production plan whilst producing product to the highest standards.

Undertake a hands-on working approach to the management of your shift.
Responsibilities:
1. Optimising the plant performance and ensuring efficiencies are delivered and improved where possible.
2. Deal with out of hours delivery queries
3. Ensure that all Health, safety and environmental rules and systems are adhered to.
4. Carry out risk assessments and the identification of hazards to help develop safe operating procedures, this includes training staff in those procedures.
5. Carry out analysis, identify root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions.
6. Liaise with the Engineering department to ensure that all engineering tasks and PPM requests are actioned.
7. Communicate daily with the Production Manager in relation to any changes and identifying any problems and solutions.
8. Report production onto system
9. Answer any out of hours telephone calls regarding any issues as part of an on-call rota system.
10. All paperwork is completed correctly.
