About the role
Our Insurance & Asset & Wealth Management Finance Transformation Advisory team works with insurers and retirement providers to modernise finance functions, strengthen financial reporting and respond to significant accounting change. The team is collaborative and multidisciplinary, bringing together finance, actuarial, data and technology specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
As a Manager, you will lead the delivery of finance transformation and accounting advisory engagements, supporting clients through complex change including IFRS 17 implementation and post‑implementation activity.
What your days will look like
You will deliver value to clients through hands‑on leadership and technical expertise, including:
1. Managing the day‑to‑day delivery of finance transformation and accounting advisory engagements
2. Supporting IFRS 17 implementation, optimisation and post‑implementation change activities
3. Providing technical accounting and financial reporting advice to insurance finance teams
4. Working with actuarial, data and technology specialists to deliver integrated solutions
This role is for you if:
5. Possess accounting certifications or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
6. You have delivered finance transformation or accounting advisory projects within insurance or retirement markets
7. You have a strong understanding of insurance accounting frameworks, including IFRS 17
8. You have prepared or reviewed technical accounting papers or accounting policy documentation
9. You are comfortable managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders
10. You can explain complex accounting issues clearly to non‑technical audiences
