Job Description:
My client, a leading Fortune 500 - Global FMCG, is now looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial) to join their legal team on a 12-month FTC, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Reporting to the GC and working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, this will be a broad, business-facing role. Responsibilities include:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including supply and distribution agreements
* Advising on sales, marketing, and packaging matters
* Supporting the business on product claims and other legal areas such as competition, IT, and advertising on an ad hoc basis
The ideal candidate will have 10+ PQE as a general commercial lawyer, with experience in a brand-rich organization or FMCG sector preferred but not essential.
