Core Responsibilities:
* Delivery of medications from pharmacy to patients and nursing/ care homes following pharmacy's delivery procedures & safety protocols.
* Collection of prescriptions from surgeries/ institutions as and when required.
* Working closely with different teams of the pharmacy to ensure timely deliveries.
* Require to complete annual pharmacy driving training to carry out delivery of medication duties.
* Adhering to Data Protection Act 2018 i.e. data confidentiality.
* Daily Vehicle checks at the end of shifts.
* Other ad-hoc duties may be required from time to time by different teams.
Requirements:
· Must have a clean and valid UK driving licence with a good knowledge of the local areas.
· Flexibility to cover other drivers across the region.
· At least 1 year of relevant experience within a pharmacy preferred but not essential.
· Good communication skills and team-player.
· Must be professional and punctual.
· Friendly, patient and possess an excellent level of customer care/ service.
· Good numeracy skills.
· Self-motivated and possess the ability to work within tight deadlines.
· Ability to prioritise workload.
· Reliable and responsible.
Hours of work (part-time hours):
· Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to changes).
· 10.00am to 4/5.00pm (flexi).
· 12 – 18 hours per week.
Salary:
£12.21 per hour.
