About the role
This role involves working in subject classrooms in KS3 and KS4, under the direction of class teachers, promoting the learning of students with a range of educational needs. You will facilitate learning across subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, using your enthusiasm and caring approach. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential; knowledge of working with children is desirable. Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills are required, with the ability to work independently.
The school believes all children deserve a broad and balanced curriculum, designed to develop inquisitive individuals who feel valued and respected.
Requirements
* Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school or similar setting.
* Experience working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
* A genuine desire to be part of a committed school team.
* Experience delivering Mathematics and English is preferred.
