Job Title: Business Development Manager, BPO Sector
About the Opportunity
Thrive is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based outsourcing provider with a strong reputation across customer operations, digital services, and back-office solutions. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across key sectors.
This is a high-impact, commercially focused role suited to someone who understands the Business Process Outsourcing landscape and can confidently engage senior stakeholders, identify opportunities, and close complex deals.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new BPO opportunities across both public and private sectors. Working closely with internal solution teams, you will shape compelling propositions that align with client needs and deliver measurable value.
Key responsibilities include,
* Generating and qualifying new business opportunities within the BPO space
* Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospects
* Leading end-to-end sales cycles, from initial engagement through to contract close
* Developing tailored outsourcing solutions in collaboration with operational teams
* Engaging C-level and senior decision-makers across target organisations
* Attending industry events, networking, and representing the business in the market
* Maintaining accurate forecasting and CRM reporting
About You
* Proven track record in B2B sales within the BPO, outsourcing, or managed services sector
* Strong understanding of customer experience, contact centre, and back-office solutions
* Demonstrable success in winning mid to large-scale contracts
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
