Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant- Portadown
Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland’s Leading Distributors. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant to join their established accountancy team. This vacancy has arisen due to company growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Monthly accruals & prepayments.
* Processing of sales and purchase invoices as required.
* Supplier payments, bank reconciliations, expenses and credit card postings.
* Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions and journal postings.
* Preparation of VAT, intrastat and EC sales
* Support in the preparation of year end statutory accounts and audit including ad hoc analysis.
* General accounting and administrative duties
Essential eligibility criteria:
* Qualified Accounts Technician / Part Qualified Accountant
* Experience of preparing management accounts
* Experience of a multi-company, multi-currency finance environment
* IT Proficient in Sage Accounts
