Job Description
Key responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
* Electrical fault-finding on panels and PLCs.
* maintenance of robotics and other automated equipment.
* Diagnose and repair machinery faults to minimise downtime.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to implement equipment improvements.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
* Monitor and adjust equipment settings to optimise performance and efficiency.
* Participate in planned shutdowns and project work as required.
* Provide technical support and training to other team members when necessary.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have
* Apprenticeship/education in Electrical Maintenance or Engineering.
* Ideally 18th edition wiring regulations.
* Ideally Test & Inspection certifications.
* Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
