Bredon AFC is a thriving grassroots football club, with a very successful Members Social Club. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bar Person to join our Social Club team. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a community-focused environment and providing excellent service to our members and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serving drinks and snacks to members and guests.
* Operating the till and handling cash/credit card payments.
* Ensuring a high level of customer service, engaging with club members and visitors.
* Assisting with the opening and closing of the bar.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
* Maintaining a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at all times.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous bar experience is an advantage, but not essential.
* The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop the role potentially leading to more hours and a management role. Development training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude and reliability are key.
* Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings (based on the club's match schedule and events).
Hours and Pay:
* 20 hours per week (flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends).
* Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed at interview).
