Overview
Join to apply for the Functional Assessor role at Advo Health
Are you a healthcare professional looking for a company that shares your values? Embrace a new work-life balance as a Functional Assessor, working 50% in clinic and 50% at home. With a rewarding salary starting at £39,500, you will receive annual pay reviews in line with your performance. Your support structure will be made up of people that know and understand what it is like to do the role, meaning you will benefit from a clinically-led business. Advo is a healthcare organisation through and through, with clinicians in management positions shaping our group ethos. We have more than 10 years of experience delivering government assessment services and a commitment to professional development and training.
About The Role
Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK. You will work autonomously to assess cases for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports. You will only work to assess people for PIP or a WCA, not both. We will advise you on which service you will work on and discuss your training as part of the application process. You do not need to have previously worked as a Functional Assessor; we offer accredited training and dedicated support.
