Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and communities to develop innovative planning strategies.
2. Prepare and review planning applications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and policies.
3. Conduct research and analysis to support planning initiatives, including environmental impact assessments.
4. Engage with the public through consultations, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback and foster community involvement.
5. Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and legislative changes in urban planning and development.
Qualifications:
6. Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or related field.
7. Proven experience in town planning or a related role.
8. Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations, policies, and procedures.
9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
