Role Description
Responsible for market development and sales growth of heavy-duty clutches and related products within the specified territory, with full ownership of sales performance, distributor development, and profitability management in the commercial vehicle aftermarket.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Market Development
· Drive territory development for heavy-duty clutches in the aftermarket
· Identify and onboard new distributors and field representatives
· Conduct road shows, ride-outs, trade meetings, and customer engagement programmes
· Build and expand the customer base to increase revenue and market share
Sales & Budget Accountability
· Take full responsibility for achieving annual sales targets
· Ensure adherence to approved sales budgets
· Monitor and drive sales performance against agreed KPIs
Commercial & Profitability Management
· Manage product profitability and margin performance
· Conduct margin analysis and pricing reviews
· Design and execute promotional schemes to drive volume and market penetration
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
· Prepare and present MIS reports including:
· Sales analysis
· Customer performance reviews
· Monitoring dashboards
· Develop monthly travel plans and submit weekly progress updates
Customer & Operational Management
· Manage customer warranty processes
· Liaise with factory and customers to ensure clear communication
· Ensure timely, efficient delivery and high standards of customer support
Product & Technical Support
· Develop product marketing plans and budgets
· Deliver training sessions to technical staff, mechanics, and end users
