Your Mission
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding our recurring revenue account base, specifically targeting our service agreement customers. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Prospecting & Research: Identify potential customers using Carrier’s extensive equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor insights.
* Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations, conduct customer needs assessments, and secure new maintenance agreements.
* Building Relationships: Establish rapport with customers through effective questioning techniques to uncover their needs, budget, decision-making process, and timelines.
* Site Surveys: Perform thorough site surveys and facility walkthroughs to evaluate customer needs and craft tailored maintenance proposals.
* Sales Tools: Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to track and develop a robust backlog of sales opportunities.
* Collaboration: Work closely with operations to ensure quality results on maintenance agreements and resolve any customer issues.

Minimum Requirements:
* Strong background in service sales.
* Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a plus, or the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to engage prospective customers and convert inquiries into project wins.
* Valid UK Driving Licence.
* Proficiency in MS Office and IT literacy.
