Your Mission
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to expand our recurring revenue account base. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Prospecting: Research and qualify potential customers using Carrier’s extensive equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor insights.
* Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations, conduct thorough customer needs assessments, and secure new maintenance agreements.
* Building Relationships: Establish rapport with customers through effective questioning techniques to uncover their needs, budget, decision-making process, and timelines.
* Site Surveys: Perform facility walkthroughs to assess equipment and site conditions, enabling you to craft tailored proposals for maintenance agreements.
* Sales Tools: Utilize Salesforce and other tools to track and develop a robust backlog of sales opportunities.
* Collaboration: Work closely with operations to ensure quality results on maintenance agreements and resolve any customer issues.
What We’re Looking For

* Sales Experience: A strong background in service sales is essential.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a plus, but we’re open to candidates who can quickly learn.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Proactive Approach: Ability to engage prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins.
* Driving License: A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
* IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
