DESCRIPTION:
Join our Legal Contracts Team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to global healthcare. As an Associate Counsel Contracts you'll provide legal support for our clinical research business, drafting and negotiating agreements that enable therapeutic advances. You'll serve as the primary legal contact for assigned departments, ensuring our company's interests are protected while facilitating critical business decisions. You'll handle a diverse portfolio including enterprise service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and complex contracts, while providing training and guidance to internal stakeholders. This role offers flexible work arrangements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Legal Degree plus minimum 5 years of experience in legal or contracts experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or related industry

• Active law license/qualification in jurisdiction of practice (where applicable)

• Ability to draft and negotiate routine contract provisions autonomously and complex provisions with oversight

• Strong risk analysis and mitigation skills with ability to evaluate legal implications

• Excellent English language proficiency, including written and verbal communication

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel

• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously

• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory compliance

• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders

• Flexibility to adjust workload and priorities based on business needs

• May require 0-20% travel

• Ability to work standard business hours
