We are looking for a multiskilled production engineer to join our pioneering enterprise and grow with production engineer to join our pioneering enterprise and grow with us from strength to strength.This is a hands-on leadership role in a LEAN, fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for 2 new assembly production lines, ensuring quality, output, efficiency and safety targets are met. You will play a key part in driving LEAN manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and team performance.
Responsibilities
* Assembly production line set up.
* Management of workflows through the assembly lines.
* SOP creation, implementation and maintenance.
* Training and guidance for assembly line fitters.
* Quality control of all products in, during and after the assembly line production.
* You will work closely with existing engineers in other departments to ensure smooth delivery of SpreadPoint production.
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
* Experience with team management, you will be required to run a small sub-team of assembly line fitters.
* Full UK driving licence or equivalent.
* Knowledge of LEAN production practices.
* Strong leadership style with a hands-on approach.
