Job Overview
Reporting into the National Operations Manager and with circa 20-30 direct reports, you will lead, inspire and create an environment where we “Create Unforgettable Experiences One Guest at a Time” for the thousands of visitors you will welcome into your venue. Your mindset should prioritize the safety of our team members and guests.
Key Measures of Success
* The maintenance and ongoing improvement of the guest experience and feedback performance.
* Adherence to all health and safety standards, including SOPs, team training, and operational monitoring.
* Achievement of business KPIs such as revenue targets, bounce numbers, operating costs, and budget management.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Thrive in a fast-paced, high footfall environment where being hands-on is essential.
* Follow operational directives for opening and closing, along with daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
* Lead by example, demonstrating leadership through active involvement.
* Take responsibility for venue facilities, compliance, staff, guest relations, and KPIs.
* Recruit, coach, develop, and mentor your team.
* Engage directly with guests to enhance their experience.
* Maintain strong commercial awareness, identify revenue opportunities, and present business plans to the NOM.
* Prioritize health and safety for teams and guests, including accident and incident management and staff training.
* Oversee maintenance and presentation standards internally and externally.
* Communicate effectively with teams and guests, handling feedback professionally.
* Be adaptable, resilient, and a role model with integrity.
* Support performance management and HR processes.
* Create an energetic workplace environment for your teams and a fun, safe venue for guests.
* Represent the company as an ambassador and engage with the local community.
* Work beyond contracted hours as needed to meet business demands.
Qualifications/Skills
* Experience in general management within leisure/hospitality.
* Tech-savvy with strong operational knowledge.
* Excellent people management skills.
* Sound business acumen.

Working Conditions
* Flexibility to work a mix of daytime, evenings, and weekends.
* Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
