Job Summary
Maternity Cover 12 months fixed term / Secondment Opportunity
Are you passionate about supporting, training, and developing the physiotherapy workforce in North Cumbria?
We seek an experienced Physiotherapist with clinical expertise to deliver high-quality training, education, and support across Acute and Community services.
You will oversee the development of physiotherapy staff, including preceptees, support workers, apprentices, and those in development roles, and serve as a key contact for career pathway guidance.
You will join a growing AHP educator team, led by the Head of Physiotherapy, with dedicated supervision and opportunities to develop across the Four Pillars of Practice.
The ideal candidate is motivated, well-organized, and possesses excellent communication skills to inspire others.
Main duties include:
1. Act as a clinical role model, delivering training and education for new recruits and support staff.
2. Responsible for onboarding new physiotherapy staff.
3. Provide hands-on clinical supervision to promote skill acquisition.
4. Support staff development and career progression pathways.
5. Contribute to departmental policies and audits.
