Description
Overall purpose is to engage proactively across all departments within the business to ensure the consistent and effective operations processes are implemented
Ensure effective coordination between customers, suppliers, drivers, engineers, and internal teams
Act as a key point of contact to resolve operational issues and challenges quickly and effectively
Ensure all parties are informed of requirements, timelines, and responsibilities
Oversee servicing, inspections, maintenance, and compliance of all machinery
Ensure servicing schedules are planned, monitored, and adhered to
Identify and address risks related to equipment availability, safety, or downtime
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Support customer queries, issues, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
Ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and contractual requirements
Identify errors, inefficiencies, or weaknesses in existing processes
Investigate root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions
Develop and introduce improvements to systems, workflows, and communication methods
Support the implementation of new processes, tools, or ways of working
Ensure clear communication across teams so everyone understands what is required and when
Monitor workloads, schedules, and priorities to avoid conflicts or delays
Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation
Ensure operations comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations
Support audits, inspections, and reviews as required
Profile
A successful Project Support Lead should have:
Previous experience in a project support or administrative role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using project management software and tools, SAP and Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
