Your new role
This is an urgent requirement for a Management Accountant to join this Glasgow charity.
You will be working closely with the Finance Manager, and will assist with the reconciliation, preparation and analysis of the Charity's accounts and key financial information.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including:
* Income and expenditure
* Balance Sheet
* Cash flow statements
* Variance analysis
* Fundraising reports
* Journal preparation & posting
* Full monthly income reconciliation
* Working with all departments on budgets and re-forecasting
* Monthly budget holder reports
* Supporting with the processing of invoices, managing payments from supporters, attending events to support with cash counting and credit card processing
* Maintaining management information systems
* Reconciliations and analysis as required
* Other duties as required
Qualifications
* Recognised accounting qualification (part-qualified, relevant degree or equivalent)
* Management Accounting experience
* Finance management skills
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
* Good relationship building and interpersonal skills
* Confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
Work Pattern
Hybrid working including 3 days per week on site in the Glasgow office.
