Jark Stevenage are urgently recruiting for a Pre Press Operative for a Stevenage Printing company.
This is an established company with strong growth with excellent prospects of progression. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right person
Pre-press is to aid production, increase output and maintain quality/efficiencies. Working to ensure orders are ready in line with the company schedule.

Multi skilled within pre-press, must have the ability to cover all 3 key areas, Plate ordering, Plate mounting and ink mixing.
Daily Tasks
Plate ordering/administration -
Plate mounting
Ink mixing and colour matching.
Plate making.
Cleaning recycled printing plates.
Producing plate negs for in house plates.
Carrying out pre-shift inspections for the pre-press room.
Weekly Tasks
Keeping records of plate usage and reporting these back to the production manager
Keeping records of ink usage and cost savings
Ordering of ink.
Recycling of inks and safe disp...
