Composite Laminator Location: Stevenage, UK Duration: 3–6 Months (Contract) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Composite Laminator to join our client’s advanced manufacturing team in Stevenage on a 3–6 month contract basis. This role involves the precise manufacture of composite components used in high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities for the Composite Laminator Perform hand lay-up of prepreg materials to detailed patterns and lay-up schedules. Trim, bag, and vacuum components in preparation for autoclave curing. Operate autoclaves and ovens in accordance with process specifications. Inspect and verify component integrity against quality standards and drawings. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area. Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time. Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineers, quality inspectors, and team leads to meet production targets.Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Composite Laminator Strong background in prepreg lay-up, vacuum bagging, and autoclave processing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, lay-up manuals, and process documentation. Understanding of cleanroom procedures. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
