Duties
* Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, securing loads properly for transportation.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by the company.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on the road and at delivery sites.
Experience
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
* Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is an advantage.
* A valid commercial driving licence (CDL) is essential.
* Strong navigation skills with knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
