Application for Senior Research Imaging Manager (Band 8B) – NHS Scotland (Tayside Medical Science Centre, Ninewells Hospital & Medical School, Dundee).
Salaries: £74,003 – £79,164 per annum; full‑time 36‑37 hours per week with no change in pay upon reduction of UK working week.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a multidisciplinary team of NHS radiographers and other staff in delivering world‑class research and high‑quality clinical services.
* Supervise staff, develop and interpret complex imaging protocols.
* Own the overall business development and management of the Clinical Research Imaging Facility (CRIF).
* Contribute to the senior management team of TASC and collaborate closely with Imaging Services in NHS Tayside.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered with the Healthcare Professions Council.
* Extensive experience in cross‑sectional imaging and a proven track record in managing professional staff.
* Strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
* Experience working across different imaging modalities and coordinating research protocols.
