The Role
Youll be involved in:
* Electrical fault-finding and maintenance
* Planned preventative maintenance
* Reactive breakdown support
* Improving plant reliability and reducing downtime
* Supporting maintenance planning across site
* Working safely within permit to work systems
* Maintaining pressure systems in line with requirements
* Supporting maintenance stores, parts and stock control
* Working closely with engineering and operations teams
* Making sure work is completed safely and to a high standard
What Theyre Looking For
This role is for an engineer who is electrically biased first, but happy working in a multi-skilled maintenance environment.
Essential:
* Strong electrical bias
* 17th or 18th Edition
* Experience in maintenance within manufacturing, production, FMCG or industrial environments
* Good electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience with PPMs and breakdown maintenance
* A practical, proactive approach
* Able to work well as part of a team
Desirable:
* BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
* Experience in FMCG, feed mill or similar production environments
* Boiler experience
* IOSH
* Good Microsoft skills
* Mechanical understanding in a maintenance setting
