About This Role
We require a technician in Performing Arts to support teaching and learning within the faculties. The role involves working as part of the Academy’s teaching teams to support practical lessons. Technicians are essential for the smooth running of classes, preparing resources, supporting students, and maintaining a safe environment.
The position is for 17 hours per week during 39 weeks per year (school term plus 1 week).

About You
The ideal candidate will be organized, positive, and engaged in staff training. You will work with a motivated team supporting young people in developing skills through a broad curriculum.
The Role Will Include:
* Preparing equipment and resources for lessons, especially music.
* Performing basic maintenance of equipment.
* Ensuring safety and security of equipment.
* Desirable skills include IT, setting up sound and lighting systems, and workshop skills.
* Health and Safety training will be provided.
